Manaka Momobe (
Appearance[]
Manaka was a man of average height with light, spiky hair that he styled upwards, and an undercut. He dressed in the standard Momo Corp uniform, including a white pinstripe suit and combat boots. As a Commanding Officer, Manaka also wore a long, white coat with fur trim.
Personality[]
Monaka has a kind and a very loving personality, he has shown this personality to his lovely family, and his friend Tsubakiri Momomiya, he has even shown Oni's that he respects them and when he kills an Oni he prays for them. However, as he died he expressed regret in having sympathy for them, as they had killed his family and fatally wounded him, he told his partner, "The Oni should be wiped out... immediately... Don't let even a single child escape..." before dying.
Plot[]
In the past, Manaka was Tsubakiri's friend and partner in the Momotaro corporation. He had a great deal of sympathy for the Oni he killed, giving a prayer for each and every one, which confused Tsubakiri. His wife and daughter were his greatest joy, and, according to him, his reason to come home from work every day. However, one day, he was tasked to dispatch a child oni which looked uncannily similar to his daughter, which made him hesitate on killing the oni. This allowed the oni to escape, causing a large amount of bloodshed, including killing his wife and daughter, as it entered a berserk state. Manaka attempted to engage the oni again, but was fatally injured. As he died, he revoked any sympathy he had for the oni, telling Tsubakiri that even every last oni child should be killed. He allowed Tsubakiri to reanimate his body to use as a tool in the extermination of the oni.
Abilities[]
Manaka is able to mix his bacteria with oxygen in the air and manipulate air pressure, but downside of this is that he can only use this ability in a small area but it's still big enough to kill people.
Gravity Ball: Manaka condense the oxygen in the space between his hands increasing the pressure by a hundred times.

Manaka's Family[]
Manaka was incredibly devoted to and loving toward his wife and daughter, even considering them his reason to make sure he comes home from work each day. This love was strong enough that their deaths were able to make him completely revoke his entire philosophy of oni sympathy, wishing for every last one to be exterminated in his dying moments.
Tsubakiri Momomiya[]
Manaka and Tsubakiri were partners and good friends, although Tsubakiri didn't understand his sympathy for the oni, viewing them as "maggots" and test subjects instead. Manaka had a great impact on Tsubakiri, causing him to start a family of his own despite his overall sociopathic and deranged tendencies. On the other hand, Manaka seemed to have trusted Tsubakiri greatly, as he entrusted his body to him as he was dying to be used as a weapon against the oni.
Etymology[]
- His given name Manaka means "true, reality" (真 ma) and "middle, center" (中 naka).
- His surname Momobe means "peach" (桃 momo) and "section, bureau, class" (部 be).
